This website and my other "Content" site PerryCountyOhio.us are free and always will be. Besides my time though, which I happily provide, I do have real dollar expenses for server space, etc. If you would care to donate a dollar or two to help defray those expenses, I would not turn it down and it would be greatly appreciated. You can easily do that by clicking the "Donate" button at the bottom of this page. Thanks.

Notes: E 1/2 S35. On CR16 (Irish Ridge Rd) 3 mi se of Corning.

Small country cemetery. Dick Dew writes that there are 2 Dew Cemeteries but the one in Athens County does not have descendents of James Crabtree Dew. The Perry Co. Dew cemetery in the far SE corner of Perry County, just barely above the Athens county line. It is between Corning and Trimble on the northern edge of Burr Oak State park. One would drive south of Corning on SR 13 for 3 to 5 miles and turn left on Irish ridge Rd (CR 16), a very short stretch leads to the James Dew house built in 1814. The cemetery is just up a hill from the house. A descendant, Harry Bradford Dew, owns the house. James Crabtree Dew deeded the property for Dew cemetery. If you see references to Dew cemetery at Corning, Burr Oak, Glouster, Monroe Twp or Spencer Ridge, they all mean this cemetery. GPS is 400407N/0822311W
